Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge...Thanks

I needed to get some cards done to have on hand
and when I found these sketches I knew they would be perfect.
They are easy to use and like I said before the cards just make
themselves.....almost.

Here is my version..
I used Botanical Tea paper (LOVE IT)
Added Twilight Blue cardstock from CTMH.
The Thanks stamp is from my stash.
Love this double layer butterfly
.

Tsunami Rose Designs- Ambrosia

Today I made a Birthday card with gorgeous digital paper from Tsunami Rose.
I used Ambrosia 6x6 digital paper..
I also used Grunge Board.. love it!!!

I knew as soon as I saw this paper it would be the center
of the center stair step card.
Along with the rosettes and the butterfly border this paper
is so pretty and vintage.. I just love it.
I think this paper would make a beautiful wedding card.

PP Farewell Card

Happy Monday!
Today I am posting My Favourite Things for Pinque Peacock.
On this card I used a gorgeous button from Pinque Peacock.
I just love these fabric covered buttons made by Jessica!!!
I also used some 3 Girl Jam ribbon that came with my June Crafty Kit Club Kit.

I made my own texture paste..
I made a small amount and it worked great.
I used my daisy stencil.
I also used gesso on all the edges.
For the small circles on the bottom right corner and the
top left corner  I used gesso and the other end of a sponge dauber.
The paper is from Botanical Tea.
I also used a die cut made from chipboard
painted with gesso and then sprayed with mist.
The farewell is computer generated.

Make sure you come and join the Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog
Summer is the theme this month...

Baby Card

Happy Monday to all!!!
Monday's are not my favourite day and it's a rainy day here
so I figure it's a good reason to craft!!!
And that makes the day so much better!
Here is a baby card I made.
I found some sketches and they are amazing.
I knew I had to use this sketch for my baby card.
This sketch is from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
I have used three sketches now to make cards I had to make
and they almost made themselves.
When I saw this sketch I knew it would be the baby card I needed.

Some older paper from stash... and a couple of mini white brads
and some twine I had in my stash.
The saying is computer generated.

I am entering this in the following challenges...

Get Well Card - Baby Card

Get Well - Baby Cards

Here are two cards I made today.
The first one is a Get Well card..
I used an Atlantic Hearts Sketch. #63

Here is my card...

Flowers are from my stash.
The leaf is from my petaloo flowers.
I used my favourite flourish.
The get well is computer generated on a spellbinders die.
Paper is from the Botanical Tea collection.

I absolutely loved this sketch and the card was so easy to make
I used another sketch from earlier.

I made a baby card.
I used Sketch #60 from  Atlantic Hearts Challenges.
Here is that sketch.

Is's a CAS card.  I just love the colours.
The baby is an older CTMH stamp.
I added the sweet pea.
I love the dimension the "skittles" add to the card.

I have a few more cards to make and I know I will
be going back and checking out older challenges.
These sketches made the cards fun and easy to make.
Thanks.

Pinque Peacock - Summer Challenge - Wedding Wreath

Today I am doing a Summer Challenge for the Pinque Peacock Challenge Blog.
I love love love Summer.
When I think of Summer I think of weddings..
A friend of mine, her niece is getting married and she is doing
a lot of the decorations and  the thank you's and
she also did all the invites. I helped her with ideas and
I made this special wreath for the wedding.
My friend helped as she made one of the burlap flowers and
she held the glue gun when I was arranging the wreath.
( those are her words)

We got a lot of different burlap..
I also used tulle, and some lace from my stash.
The words are wooden (also from Mike's)
The tulle looks blue in the pictures but it is white.
I also wrapped twine around the side of the wreath.
Lori had a picture of what she wanted the wreath to look like.
(The wreath was a buck at the thrift store)
The burlap splendid swirls are from Pinque Peacock... I am in love with these..

The swirl is the bottom "flower"
The next flower is from Mike's (from the 1.50 bin)
and I added a burlap center.
I made the two white burlap flowers..
They don't look anything like the tutorial but I like them on here.
The next flower is the burlap flower I made...
it's so easy...tutorial here...
There is two burlap flowers on each side of that from Mike's.
The next flower is also a purchased flower.
The one closest to the top is the one my friend Lori made.
We were both so pleased when we made the flowers.
I added three bits of lace here and there.
The theme for the wedding is country so this wreath
will be perfect for the wedding.
Here are two close ups of the wreath.

I challenge you ... I want to see your Summer projects!
