Retiring Digital Papers from Tsunami Rose

This post is picture heavy so be prepared.
I am so sorry this is late but blogger and I had a little row again.
Actually blogger had the row and I came in late to the game...

There are quite a few digital papers retiring from Tsunami Rose Designs right now.
You have to see them to believe how beautiful they are.
I love the vintage feel to each and every one of them.
I also love how you can mix and match them and they go perfectly together.
You will see in two of my projects today I have mixed the
 papers for beautiful results.
My first card is a wedding card that I made for a friend.
I used "Romantic Couple" digital 6x6 paper for this card.
It's on sale for only 49 cents right now and you can use it over and over again.

I made the image 5 3/4 then added yellow and brown cardstock layers
All the flowers and tulle are from my stash.
You can just see it dangling.. I have a heart from Pinque Peacock.
The sentiment says Wishing you love and laughter forever after.

My next card is I think my VERY favorite image from
Daisy's store... I know I keep saying that but I ABSOLUTELY
love this vintage boot. It's called "Vintage Floret" and its a 6x6 file also.
As soon as I saw this image I knew I had to make a Christmas card.
I know it's May but ... you will see..
It's called Hark The Hearld Angels Sing

I don't know if you can tell but I printed this image on Bazzill Bling cardstock.
I love the look of the card ... it shimmers...
Flowers and angel and pearls and corners from my stash.

For my third card I used Two papers from the sale.

I love the way the two papers just go together.
The little girls in the file made me want to make a birthday card.
I added some lace and and burlap flower with a pearl and
it is the perfect card for a little girl's birthday.
I think that is one of the things I love most about Daisy's designs.
The cards almost make themselves. Almost as soon as I see an
image I know what  it is going to be.

I can see myself using the image on the far left soon
for another card.. something about that girl just makes me
want to make a card..

For my last project I made an altered box.
The papers are just beautiful, thank goodness
because I am still struggling with this mixed media stuff.
I had a image in my head but it didn't come out anything like I thought.
I should have just gone with papers and modge podge and
left the textures to gals that know what they are doing.
Oh well .. I made this to hold any jewelry I buy at yard sales to
take apart for my crafts.
(which I did yesterday) (woohoo.... a big score)

The top you can see the Picardy Roses..
Bottom in the middle one of the Vintage Roses

This is from Efflorescence.. I actually printed out that file
3 times to use mostly on the box.. Then I printed out
the other two files 2 times to fill in everywhere.

Here is Vintage Roses again.
I also used Washi Tape here and there..
The raised spots are a burlap ribbon that I painted over
then added some ink.. that is the part I wish I
could change.. the rest of the box I love..
I added some flowers.
A gorgeous pin from Pinque Peacock that I had made for me...
Also a floral fan made with 3 girl jamr crinkle ribbon.
I also added a little lace and some bling..
I think I will try covering those spots with some more
of Daisy's papers then I will be happy with my box.

Come on over to Daisy's shop and get these papers
now before they are gone for good.
If you spend $5 you get a free gift.

Pinque Peacock - Retirement Card

Today I made a retirement card for you.
It's a screen card.
I haven't done the sentiment yet
as I want something special but I havne't
found just the right one yet.

It is very rustic.. but that is what I was going for.

I used a yellow gingham splendid swirl.
(they come in two sizes and lots of fabrics!)

The back side of the card was embossed
then white washed then stamped.

The front was modge podged with a napkin (green and white gingham)
(which you can't see at all) and then all kinds
of mediums on it.. Finally stamped it...
I love these screen cards but I think I
will make the next one shorter.
Hope you like my card and if
you have any ideas for sentiments for this card
I would love to hear them...

Come and join our Pinque Peacock Challenge.
It's all about altered tags this month and I
would love to see yours...

Tsunami Rose - Vintage Tags with Love And Flowers

As soon as I saw these tags I knew they had to be Love tags.
These tags are called Vintage Flowers Printable #1
The tags all print onto  8 1/2 x 11 paper.
It's on sale right now for $1.50
Daisy is retiring some fantastic digital papers.
I made a mini tag book with the papers.
Here is my little tag book..

I just love the amazing flowers on all the tags.
This file has round tags and banner tags and tags.
These tags made me want to do a tag mini book.
The colours are subtle but jump right out at you.
I love the vintagy feel of these tags.
There are  so many possibilities with these tags.
I want to add lots of laces to the binder ring but
I want just the right lace so I will be carrying these
tags around with me till I do...

I added some lace and metal buttons on each tag.
