This post is picture heavy so be prepared.
I am so sorry this is late but blogger and I had a little row again.
Actually blogger had the row and I came in late to the game...
There are quite a few digital papers retiring from Tsunami Rose Designs right now.
You have to see them to believe how beautiful they are.
I love the vintage feel to each and every one of them.
I also love how you can mix and match them and they go perfectly together.
I also love how you can mix and match them and they go perfectly together.
You will see in two of my projects today I have mixed the
papers for beautiful results.
My first card is a wedding card that I made for a friend.
I used "Romantic Couple" digital 6x6 paper for this card.
It's on sale for only 49 cents right now and you can use it over and over again.
I made the image 5 3/4 then added yellow and brown cardstock layers
All the flowers and tulle are from my stash.
You can just see it dangling.. I have a heart from Pinque Peacock.
The sentiment says Wishing you love and laughter forever after.
My next card is I think my VERY favorite image from
Daisy's store... I know I keep saying that but I ABSOLUTELY
love this vintage boot. It's called "Vintage Floret" and its a 6x6 file also.
As soon as I saw this image I knew I had to make a Christmas card.
I know it's May but ... you will see..
It's called Hark The Hearld Angels Sing
I don't know if you can tell but I printed this image on Bazzill Bling cardstock.
I love the look of the card ... it shimmers...
Flowers and angel and pearls and corners from my stash.
For my third card I used Two papers from the sale.
"Vintage Children's Printable 1" and 8x8 "Vintage Bike" in sepia.
I love the way the two papers just go together.
The little girls in the file made me want to make a birthday card.
I added some lace and and burlap flower with a pearl and
it is the perfect card for a little girl's birthday.
I think that is one of the things I love most about Daisy's designs.
The cards almost make themselves. Almost as soon as I see an
image I know what it is going to be.
I can see myself using the image on the far left soon
for another card.. something about that girl just makes me
want to make a card..
For my last project I made an altered box.
The papers are just beautiful, thank goodness
because I am still struggling with this mixed media stuff.
I had a image in my head but it didn't come out anything like I thought.
I should have just gone with papers and modge podge and
left the textures to gals that know what they are doing.
Oh well .. I made this to hold any jewelry I buy at yard sales to
take apart for my crafts.
(which I did yesterday) (woohoo.... a big score)
I used "Vintage Roses" 6x6
The top you can see the Picardy Roses..
Bottom in the middle one of the Vintage Roses
This is from Efflorescence.. I actually printed out that file
3 times to use mostly on the box.. Then I printed out
the other two files 2 times to fill in everywhere.
Here is Vintage Roses again.
I also used Washi Tape here and there..
The raised spots are a burlap ribbon that I painted over
then added some ink.. that is the part I wish I
could change.. the rest of the box I love..
I added some flowers.
A gorgeous pin from Pinque Peacock that I had made for me...
Also a floral fan made with 3 girl jamr crinkle ribbon.
I also added a little lace and some bling..
I think I will try covering those spots with some more
of Daisy's papers then I will be happy with my box.
Come on over to Daisy's shop and get these papers
now before they are gone for good.
If you spend $5 you get a free gift.
These are gorgeous Laura!
