For today's hop I chose to go a little different route. Last night my youngest daughter Emily (19) and I were looking at an album she had made for a class I believe in grade 10. We found some pics she had done of My Mom and Dad and of Emily and both my parents. Both my parents have passed and Emily (and me too) have been missing them alot lately (more than usual). So when Lynne reminding me the hop was in a couple of days I thought it was fate and Em should be the one showing her pics of her Grandma (and Grandpa). Emily and my Mom had something a little special. She stayed over night at my Mom's at least once a week even if she had school.. It was just something they did together... This one's for you Mom (and Dad) .. We miss you always!!!!!
Thanks for joining us...next on the hop is Claire...
My daughter is an Emily too, however, my parents didn't play an integral part of her life, sadly. I don't know why that is ... Perhaps they had their own working lives? We were geographically close but didn't have that special bond that I now have with my own granddaughter Charlotte (Emily's daughter). My parents are even still alive though now 1200 miles away. Wishing won't make the bond tighter. I can only learn from example of how to treat my granddaughter with unconditional love like she gives me. I am truly blessed and honored to have an unbreakable bond with both Emily and Charlotte!

What a great project you daughter has done to show the love and wonderful memories they had. I miss my grandparents too as I was raised by them and I had the wonderful memories and times with them that I believe molded who I am today!
