Welcome ladies (and gents) to the first Creative EdVentures Blog Hop.
If you came here from Kelly's blog you are in the right spot. If you just happened along to my blog and would love to see all the amazing projects please go to Roberta's blog.
What do you have to do to be eligible for the main prizes??
Visit every designer on the list - Become a Follower of their blog (not mandatory, but always welcome)
Leave a comment on their blog hop entry.
*Note; if an individual designer is offering candy JUST for their blog, make sure you follow whatever rules they have on their blog.
When you have visited ALL the designers, you will return HERE to the Creative EdVentures homepage and Leave a Comment here about the Hop, certain designers, Sue Miller's images..
We love feedback and want to know what you thought of our first hop.
The HOP will run from 9 am Saturday and end at midnight on Sunday (give or take an hour or two) :)
Prize winners will be drawn Tuesday June 21st and announced by Wednesday June 22nd.
We will post the winners names and comments HERE on our homepage.
Good news~ Unlike many other blog hops, we WILL contact YOU if you win. Just make sure you include your email addy in any comment you leave. Individual designer blog prizes will be handled by them personally and not through Creative EdVentures.
I am so excited and honoured to be part of this hop.
We are showcasing Sue Miller stamps and the hop is sponsored by Sue Miller and Queen Kat Designs. I will say I LOVE these stamps, they are so beautiful!

These images gave me some trouble but I finally got an image I (kind of) like.I tried to do two other images but I have come to the conclusion that I need alot of practice at colouring stamps.. I tried chalk and colouring on the wrong side of vellum and it was fun trying but nothing I could show.. but what a fun way to learn!
I made an easel card. It was a great way to show the Hello sentiment on the card.
The stamp is called Angel Knock. I used copic markers and a few prisma pencil crayons. I also used my best friend Stickles. I am not sure I can do a project without them.
The image is on Kraft cardstock from Michaels. I then matted it on purple bazzill and then on corrigated cardstock I got from Up The Street in Strathroy my favorite LSS. I then put the whole thing on brown bazzill.
The card is a 6x6 inch. Under the hello which I cut out on my Cricut and designed with my gypsy, I stamped some butterflies from Butterfly Wings, a CTMH stamp set.
I also used my Tim Holtz distress inks to ink everything in sight! The card is a 6x6 inch. Under the hello which I cut out on my Cricut and designed with my gypsy, I stamped some butterflies from Butterfly Wings, a CTMH stamp set.
I have to say a big thanks to Fab because I like to try different folds and more variations on those folds and he has showed me how! So thanks!
Next stop on the hop is Fab's blog so have a great time and enjoy his fabulous card!
aww such a pretty card, i love how you changed up the card~Thank-you for very much sharing your creativity with us~..Scrappingmamma~ ustoleit@comcast.net

Hi Laura,Fab to your rescue as well?!?! LOL!!! Before I could start the hop Fab took me to the Creativeedventures Room for a private tutor class on how to do this!!Fab and I go back to when,"Message Board.com" was still wet on the design board.I can't tell you how many jams he has got me out of!!!He definitely knows his stuff!I am a slow learner!!! LOL!!! ~~~~Now to your easel card.My passion is cardmaking for over 5 years now.So you and I are on the same team.I too can't make a card without "Stickles" of some sort.It always looks like something is missing. So I always know what it is..."Stickles"!!!I have never made an easel card I must admit as I tend to gravitate to the 5 X 7 size cards. But after seeing your card and reading how you made it I think I will try my hand at it!!Of,course, with "Stickles" of every color!!! LOL!!! Well,I am on to Fab next.I'll tell him you said hello!!! LOL Stay crafty Laura
