Pinque Peacock is on my blog today.....

Hope everyone is having a safe and fun holiday weekend!

I am working this weekend so I am not doing much 

but playing with my pretties from Pinque Peacock.

Don`t you just love the pretty pink fabric covered button...

and its layered on a elegant floral... which is made with 

crinkle ribbon from  3 Girl Jam.

The digi is from Skdigis...

Its called Bird House Crawling with Ivy...

Copics are ... E35,33,37 RV19, R85,G05,09

I added stickles to the leaves...lime green..

I cut out leaves and pop dotted them to add dimension.

I added antique linen distress ink to all the layers..

I used my MS leaf corner punch.

The sentiment is computer generated.

I used craft cardstock and some vineyard berry colour..

I also used the Chevron Embossing Folder from Darice.

Pinque Peacock - My First Design Team Post

Today is my first post for Pinque Peacock...

I am so thrilled to be on this design team.. I can't even tell you..

My first project is a layout I redid for my Uncle Ken's Celebration of Life.
I totally redid this layout  .... and then when I got my goodies from Jessica
I knew the pin was perfect for this layout.... It's an angel pin...
This picture is the twins... My Dad and Uncle Ken.

The paper is from CTMH...

Flourish is a die... my favorite I think..

some buttons from a kit from Up The Street Scrapbooking..

My next project is a washi tape holder that I made myself.

I saw this on facebook somewhere.(sorry I dont' know where)

I cut off the top..

I covered with some pretty paper I had in my stash..

I eyeballed it and then scored it to make it easier to fit..

I added my favorite flourish.. and my new bird flourish...

Then added the Big Fabric button from Pinque Peacock...

Isn't it just gorgeous...

I love all the pretty buttons that Jessica has available..

I also love the pins...all the pretty pins...

and the ribbon flowers...

and the felt flowers..

This Stamping Chef challenge is all about Kraft...

because I think I am going to use as a 10th anniversary card..

I want to make sure of the names and dates.

My card is 6x6 kraft cardstock from CTMH.
Some pp from my stash...
some ribbon...and a flower and leaf also from my stash..
I used copics to colour it... and distress inks to distress..

Tips And Techniques Tuesday..... All That Stickles

Hello Stickles Fans... It's Laura today with a little fun with Stickles!
This is my first technique post for All That Stickles...
we have a new technique or tip every Tuesday..

Here is a little poem from one of my favorite Cricut gals (okieladybug) wrote...

and I think it's just perfect...

Lightly, heavily

dotted, spotted

barely, fairly

dashed, slashed

and when I figure it out

right above my long eyelash!

Stickles are meant to be fun!!!!

I am adding some pictures throughout the post of my granddaughters Abby and Kyrie and myself

making some cards with stickles....

I add a light coat first then you can always add more....

Less is more... no blobbing.... I love the thin tip for outlining (above)

but I also love to use my finger...actually Kyrie using her finger (she is 6)(on her own pic)

I also use a toothpick alot...this is Abby (11 years old)

Both Abby and Kyrie managed to get the Stickles in their hair....
and on the couch...... and on the carpet....

If you need to dry it quickly... use a heat gun carefully

or an adjustable heat lamp near the project helps to dry...

The thing you need to remember the most about Stickles is

There is NO WRONG WAY...

and remember... Stickles are Highly Addictive!!!

These are for my grandchildren for school this year..
so we will be adding their initials...

Here is the bookmark Kyrie altered....
she put xmas red on the already sparkly thickers and added
more xmas red on the eraser... ( haha they love stickles as much as I do!)

and here is the locker mirror that my granddaughter Vail

and I altered with black diamond stickles and tropical tangerine stickles.

Vail is 8 but her school has lockers...

sorry for the poor pic but it has glare no matter how I put it!!!
