Guest Designer for Her Craftiness - Lynne Kirsch
Wow today I have the pleasure of being Lynne's guest designer... our topic is blustery winds.
The colours we were supposed to use are white, green and orange... so right away I thought....
Winnie the Pooh and Windsday..... The base page is a beautiful Bo Bunny paper from Up The Street in Strathroy Ontario. I also added some flowers with a stamp that Tara has at the store.. using Tim Holtz's distress inks (my fav)... The leaves are a MS punch.. and Winnie and Piglet are made using my cricut...some twine....I am making a second page to go with it but I have to find the pictures of my granddaughter Kyrie in her Winnie the Pooh costume so I can figure out exactly with to do with it....Hope you enjoy this page as much as I had making it...
Hum Dum Dum Ditty Dum
Hum Dum Dum
Oh the wind is lasting rustly
And the trees are thrashing thrustly
And the leaves are rustling gustly
So its rather safe to say,
That it seems it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day, today
It seems that it may turn out to be
It feels like it will be undoubtedly
Looks like a rather blustery day, today!

Grid Challenge from Frosted Designs
Hello, I made one card already for this challenge but then I had to make this card and it is a grid also...I used
a sketch from Card Maps.
The squares are made from a napkin I found.. I put crackle paint (clear) all over the napkin, then let it dry.
I then ripped it apart and inked the edges then added a little more crackle paint. I used a spellbinders die to do the sentiment and I inked a small tag to add... The ribbon is some I had in my stash.. I used Tim Holtz paper and a cuttlebug die...Thanks for looking...

Unscripted Sketches #151 AND Frosted Designs Challenges
I made a card with the sketch from this week's unscripted sketches #151 and Frosted Designs Grid Challenge.
I am making another card also for the grid challenge but I thought this one might apply also...
I used some cardstock from my stash and embossed it with tim holtz folder. I stamped a flourish on white textured cardstock. I added four rectangles with some random patterned paper I had (from Up The Street).
I added a butterfly (MS)some bling... and a little sentiment rectangle...ticket punched the corners (SU)...
I just love these colours...
just so you know the colours are more like the second pic .. I am not sure why they are alittle different..

Here is my project.. This is side step card. I just love different folded cards, don't you? My occasion is a different one also, its National Grammar and Punctuation Day! The first idea that came into my head was a typewriter but I had to do this card, it was kinda calling to me.... I used left over cards (older from CTMH) cut up and some left over other paper from my stash.
I used Country Carnival with my Imagine for the HI and the punctation. I had some wooden letters I got at Up The Street that I used to put around the card...and the saying came from the internet .. because March 4th is National Grammar Day!

Guest Designer for March - Up The Street
I am so excited. About two weeks ago I saw some of Tara's new kits and thought Wow I have to have these... Tara asked me to do some layouts and some cards for the "Wander" side of the kit... Let me explain the kits a bit... Each month Tara finds some of the most beautiful paper and goodies. She then adds some more goodies from the store (Up The Street) and WOW you have the kit of the month... Last year Tara decided to split the kits in half to make them more affordable but if you buy both sides they go together... This month's kits are "Wander" and "Sweet Love". I have to warn you the kits are addicting and they sell out really fast....
So here are my cards and layouts from "Wander"
and you can click on the Up The Street link to see some of Tara's regular designers (AMAZING) layouts and a layout by Tara (AMAZING).
This layout of my Mom and Dad's 25th Wedding Anniversary is also for the Papergirlschallenge #2.
