Festive Friday Blog Hop # 16

Welcome all to this blog hop! This will be a short post today as I am borrowing internet as mine is down after the big storm we had last night.. enjoy the hop , all the gals have great projects so have fun!! If you came her from Cheryl's blog you are in the right place but if you just happened upon the hop please start at Terri's blog so you can enjoy the whole thing!

The card itself is 6x6.. I used a new stamp from Stampendous. It has the snowman and the snowflake border. I just love it, I got it from Up The Street in Strathroy Ontario.

The paper is from Tara's Sept kit, Bookworm. Green paper is Tim Holtz Distress and the striped paper is from Basic Grey called Letterman's Jacket. I tried something different for colouring the snowman.. I used watercolour paints I got a the dollar store. I used Pearl Acrylic Paint Dabber for the snowmen and then for their hats and the snow I used Sparkly Fluff from the Craft Lounge... it iis sooo cool...actually feels like fuzz. Hope you enjoy... Now on to Amanda's blog.

A basket full of wishes... Unity stamp

If you are looking for Festive Friday Blog Hop it's the next post down.
I made this card for Lynne at Your Craftiness as I was her guest designer this week but thought it
wasn't Dog Days of Summer enoughish.. (is that The stamps are both Unity stamps... I just love their stamps! Tara introduced me to them and they are all soooo pretty....
I really love this stamp and I love the paper too but I can't remember the name of it (Sorry Tara)
but I got it all at Up The Street in Strathroy Ontario!
The flowers are some I had in my stash and the flourish is felt.
sorry for the slight fuzziness.. I have taken about 20 pics and they all come out like this....

Festive Friday Blog Hop #15

Happy Friday all!!! I am so excited to have another hop for our Christmas cards.

If you are here from Cheryl’s blog you are in the right place but if you just happened along you can start the hop at Terri’s blog.

I have quite a few cards made now It will be nice come December to be ahead of the game. I had a hard time this week as the weather is so nice I just wasn’t happy with anything I made. So I went a totally different route than usual. I picked out the paper I wanted to use then made the card around it.

The paper is the from my stash.. I really like this paper…I added CTMH stamps pop dotted and my card was done. Just a simple card that took about 10 min to make and about 10 days to plan and change.

I added another photo this am as I wasn't happy with my card the way it was so I added a few crystals and green cardstock!

If you would like to share a Christmas card with us.. you can find us on facebook at Christmas Card Challenge.

I understand some of the gals are giving away blog candy this week so please follow each blog and please leave a comment as we all love to hear what you have to say!

Thanks for stopping by, now off to Amanda’s blog to check out her amazing project!

I am the Guest Designer at Her Craftiness!!!!

I am guest designer for http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com
Lynne has challenged me and I did 2 double page layouts and 2 cards.
The other double page layout and one card are featured today on Lynne's blog.
The other card I will post on my blog tomorrow or Thursday... Its a summer themed sympathy card.
All supplies were either from my own stash or from Tara at Up The Street in Strathroy Ontario.
I used 100 Days of Summer paper and Cardstock Stickers to go with it.. This line is from Simple Stories. I used lots of glossy accents... on the banner, on the sun, on the tree, on the word summer and the numbers... I love this stuff!!!
This is a sketch from Let's Scrap. 10-13-10 Sketch from Cheri O'Neill.
I have some blog candy for a lucky person that comments on this post. I would love it if you are a follower but its not necessary! I would like to know what colour the shovel and pail are... you will know what I am talking about if you came from Lynne's blog.
