CPS 206 and Queen of myCraft Room #5 spring theme Challenges!
I made a card that meets the criteria for CPS 206 Challenge...and Queen Of My Craft Room Challenge #5 Spring theme Challenges...
It is Close To My Heart paper ... happy day is from a CTMH stamp.... big flower is from Live Simply and Wagon is from WIMG... the daisies are 3-d stickers from Walmart... I just love this paper... (actually I love most of CTMH paper). (I did distress all the edges and I also distressed the wagon after running it thru my big shot using wood grain folder from TH...

Card For Frosted Design Challenge- no patterened paper
Here is the card I made today for the Frosted Design Friday Challenge-

I used all white cardstock and distress ink in 3 colours- walnut stain, peeled paint and victorian velvet... I used my cuttlebug folder for the actual card. For the frame and the flowers and leaves I used my cricut lite cartridge Live Simply.
It says Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open.

Joy's Birthday Blog Hop!! Welcome!!!

I am so excited to be doing this blog hop! Its all about birthdays. I made all my projects for a soccer birthday. I made a Bulletin board that I was going to use as a menu sheet but I put the acyrlic star paper on and just love it like that..I also made cupcake holders (I used big muffins instead!) from Cindy Loo and put soccer girls on it for decoration.. I also made 4 different jersey invites... I used colours and logos from Emily's favorite teams. I wanted to make a card but my design studio is not working so I couldn't weld the card I wanted to... Peachy Keen Challenge #44 w/a Twist
THE CHALLENGE
Create a card or layout based on the SKETCH provided
TWIST
Use a monochromatic color scheme
What exactly is monochromatic? Using tints and shades of the same color. (i.e. if you choose "red", you must use red, pink, light pink, medium pink, etc.) Black and white will also be allowed! C'mon, it will be fun and SUCH a challenge!
Design must be new
MUST follow sketch w/ TWIST to be eligible for prize

As with all of our sketch challenges, the basic layout should be there, but feel free to flip elements & get creative!
Butterflies are all MS punches... I also used a double border MS punch.. swiss dots on white...Spellbinders for the scalloped circles...
