The files I used are all from Halloween theme found here http://www.creativekuts.com/Halloween-Theme-HT825.htm. I also used files from this file for my Tuesday project... go back one post..... I did some dry embossing ... on the little witches cape and of the fence and the candy... really love this file, it has a little of everything.

Creative Kuts -Halloween

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today I am celebrating Halloween.

I have done a double page layout using Echo Park paper. I added some glimmer mist (black) to the pages and to the orange mats. I use ribbon from my stash.. I added the striped ribbon to the photo mats and added the Happy Halloween ribbon to make titles.
I used part of Beware http://www.creativekuts.com/Beware-B1031.htm ( the fence , the ghost, the beware sign and the tree with the BIG eye)
I also used part of Halloween Theme http://www.creativekuts.com/Halloween-Theme-HT825.htm (the house, and the spider web)..
just a little hint you will see the rest of this file on a layout for the blog hop.....

Her Craftiness Guest Designer

Hi Everyone... Happy Wednesday!
Today I am guest designing for Lynne at Hercraftiness
We are doing projects about school.
The colours Lynne asked us to use are white, yellow, red and brown.
I found this digi online but I can't find the place where I found it.. I usually add the name to the digi but I guess not this time.
I coloured it with copics. I am still learning how to shade. I thought this was different..
Hope you like it...

Card A Day - Canadian Thanksgiving

Today is a card I made for  Card A Day blog.....Our theme this week is Canadian Thanksgiving.
This digi is from Beccy's Place and I really like it so I thought it would be good for this....I coloured it with Copics. I am just learning how to shade but I think it turned out ok...
I added the brown with distress striped embossing folder on some cool paper I had in my stash...I added some CTMH ribbon and DONE!
I think I will give it to my family member that hold Thanksgiving this year.. I know it won't be me and my DD and I live in a very small apt. My family when we get together usually total around 14 so my apt. is just tooo small.

Creative Kuts - Back to School

Welcome to Creative Kuts Back to School Tuesday!
Last Tuesday was the first day of school in Ontario, so I decided to do a school layout.
The sketches are from page maps and altered just a bit...
The paper is from Graphic 45, ABC Primer ...I just love this whole line...
I used a Stampin Up punch for the black paper to make it look like notebook paper..
I of course inked everything.... and I added a real pencil for dimension.
The cute owl and the school house are from Creative Kuts... check them out here....
http://www.creativekuts.com/School-House-Owl-SH825.htm  Isn't he just adorable. I can see me using him to make other cards...
The school books are from the School Days Collection. It can be found here http://www.creativekuts.com/School-Days-Collection-SDC9.htm
I love this whole collection. I can see myself making a mini book with this set.
Thanks for checking out my blog today.. be sure to visit www.creativekuts.blogspot.com to  check out other projects.

For today's hop I chose to go a little different route. Last night my youngest daughter Emily (19)  and I were looking at an album she had made for a class I believe in grade 10. We found some pics she had done of My Mom and Dad and of Emily and both my parents. Both my parents have passed and Emily (and me too) have been missing them alot lately (more than usual). So when Lynne reminding me the hop was in a couple of days I thought it was fate and Em should be the one showing her pics of her Grandma (and Grandpa). Emily and my Mom had something a little special. She stayed over night at my Mom's at least once a week even if she had school.. It was just something they did together... This one's for you Mom (and Dad) .. We miss you always!!!!!

Thanks for joining us...next on the hop is Claire...

The hop starts with Lynne ~ (http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com). You won't want to miss a single calendar event not to mention the weddings, graduations, birthdays -- ok, you get the idea!!!!

I made a layout for Ask A Stupid Question Day... It wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I looked it up on the internet and I was suprised. This is the main focus of my layout....
Teachers came up with this day so students would know to ask questions... any questions.....

It's your opportunity to speak up, and to ask all those questions you were afraid to ask. All those questions that you thought were too stupid or dumb to ask, have been piling up all year long. Today is the day to unload them. C'mon give it a try. Nobody will laugh......we hope.

This may be a stupid question, but I will ask it anyway...... Teachers say there is no such thing as a stupid question. Or, that no question is too stupid to ask. If this is true, then why do your classmates laugh when you ask a question?  Yes, kids can be cruel. But, if you have a question, there's no better place to ask, than in the classroom.

The line-up for September includes:
